9 Winter Fashion Must-Haves

With winter truly settling in for the year, you might be wondering what pieces you should stock up on. The goal being to be warm yet fashionable. This quick guide will help you to figure out what items are absolute must-haves for any fashionista’s winter wardrobe.

#1: Skinny Jeans

This is a fantastic item for layering (which is PERFECT for the cool Autumn and Winter months. If you want to be casual you can wear a blazer over a hoodie. You can wear a printed (or even a regular) t-shirt and a pair of jeans and throw a blazer on top to jazz it up a little bit. Have a great dress you want to wear that isn’t quite winter-appropriate. Throw a blazer on top to provide you with some much needed warmth. The possibilities are fantastic and widely varied. Seriously – go get a blazer pronto. In fact, steal one from your boyfriend. This is yet another classic wardrobe staple that can be worn in a variety of ways. You can wear it at the office and out on the town. It pairs up perfectly with a variety of things in your wardrobe: jeans, legging, dresses, and skirts.     As a woman of a certain age I am refusing to wear the skinny jeans…everything else can be worn with dignity but the skinny jeans are better left for younger women

    I have most of the 10 winter fashion must-haves. Skipping the skinny jeans at age 48 – opting for nice warm textured leggings instead. My mother-in-law gave me a new pair of (almost) knee high boots & I love them! Thanks for the list – you’ve given me some ideas to give my mother-in-law for some of the items I don’t have. :)

    Being as cold as it is here in Manitoba, Canada, and I walk almost everywhere I go, my most important items are a colorful WARM jacket, WARM Boots and a nice but also very WARM scarf! Lol

  17. These are great items use as a foundation for a ‘ready-for-anything’ winter wardrobe. Love your tips for getting the most use out of each. I think I pretty much have everything covered except for the knee boots. Guess what just got added to my Christmas wishlist. :)
